What league is JV/Varsity in, and when do they meet?

We are in the BWA, Buckeye Wrestling Association. Our league meets every other Sunday starting the first weekend in December at North Olmsted High School. We finish up the year with a SECTIONAL, DISTRICT, and STATE Tournament.

What is OAC? Do we compete in OAC?
Ohio Athletic Committee is an individual based sports organization that administers some of the most competitive wrestling tournaments in the state.  Divisions are age based, by your birth year, in 2-year age gaps. Example, Division 1 is 2017 and later, Division 2 is 2015-2016 Division 3 is 2014-2013, Division 4 is 2012-2011. OAC is not for newer wrestlers.  If you are interested in getting more competition, please ask about OAC!

Does JV wrestle in any open tournaments?
Yes! As your wrestler gains more experience, we encourage more mat time. Open tournaments on weekends when we are not at BWA league events are the best way to grow in the sport.  Most tournaments have NOVICE and OPEN divisions.  NOVICE divisions are strictly for wrestlers in their 1st or 2nd year of competition (some tournaments are 3 years or less).
